Would you like to learn about local food production in another country? Learn to cook native cuisine, meet local farmers, purveyors, vintners and eat at regional restaurants serving up the freshest food possible? ICARE is hosting Agritourism trips for groups of 10 to 15 for week-long excursions to Italy.
The Institute is planning a tour for early June 2014 to the region of Tuscany. Participants will have opportunity to stay at a boutique working organic farm and inn while receiving culinary instruction using farm fresh ingredients and local techniques, tour and stay at a local winery, visit cheese and meat producers and experience some of the finest restaurants that the region has to offer!
